Singer, songwriter, actor. Born on May 5, 1989, in Tappahannock, Virginia. Growing up in a small town of 2,000 people. He was a born to entertain. CB loved singing in church choir and was inspired by Sam Cooke, Stevie Wonder, and Michael Jackson. He also showed off his dance moves by imitating other kinds of dance by his other idols, Usher.
Tina Davis discovered Breezy, who at the time was working for Def Jam. Tina became his manager and got him a deal with Jive Records, Britney Spears, Nsync, R. Kelly, Usher, and Kanye West were also on there. This all happened when CB was 15.
Breezy then titled his album after him in 2005 and blew up the charts. working w/ producers & songwriters, His first number 1 hit was "Run it" which Scott Storch and Sean Garrett co-written. Juelz Santana was a guest on the video. "Yo Excuse me miss" & "Gimme That" eventually became hits Which Scott & Sean written too. CB voice was always smooth. His music at the time were what a typical teenage boy would talk about, (GIRLS). Sometimes people would compare him to Michael Jackson because of the way he moved, his talent was amazing. the whole album gave chris 2 nominations at the Grammy Awards for Best New Artist and Best R&B Contemporary Album. Showing his talent by performing with Lionel Richie and Smokey Robinson. CB then started receiving awards, w/ NAACP Image Award for Outstanding New Artist. Young fans then later came became a bigger group it was no surprise when he won a Teen Choice Award for Choice Music Breakout Artist Male.
